Yesterday my daughter and I went to the monthly meeting of the Chicago Bonsai Society. We meet at the Garfield Park Conservatory which is a lovely place to visit. Ava and I both re-potted our bonsai. I have took my Fukien tea and Ava took her lovely little Euphorbia geroldii. Hope you enjoy the photos and perhaps you will join us sometime. I once bought a Bonsai tree from a somewhat shady character out of the back of his van on the side of the highway. I like to tell myself that I didn’t kill it, it was doomed from its beginnings, but I’m sure it really was my fault.
How fun!!! I’ve always wanted to make one of these! Nice gallery. Thanks for sharing.
Great photos and we have wonderful Bonsai trees at our county fairs…I don’t have one, but have always liked them!
They can be very easy to take care of. I have a window that I know plants like. I chose my trees with that area in mind. Give it a shot and I bet you will be surprised.
Totally enjoyed the photos! Thank you for sharing…and for reminding me how much I miss ‘bonsai-ing.’ Blessings
